A quick and easy way to cover hardsubs on Windows is to use the screen keyboard. The keyboard will hover over all tabs on the screen including fullscreen and can be resized.
Enable it as follows:
Go to 設定 -> 簡単操作
Then click キーボード
Enable スクリーンキーボード
Now you can place the keyboard over your hardsubs
It's as simple as that!
